This science course will focus on creating a more hands on, project based experience of science that connects students to our local environment. Coursework and assessments will focus on authentic contexts where students are required not just to learn ‘about’ stuff, but to actively contribute in building a sustainable future.
This course will have a particular focus on developing transferable skills such as group work, communication, statistical literacy and information literacy - as well as reading, writing, problem solving and analytical thinking.
