In this Spin, GET UP AND DANCE 2, you will be working closely as a Q2 cohort and alongside the Q 1 & 3 students to create your own dance compositions. You will learn repertoire from NZ and international choreographers, and spend time exploring different genres of dance. There will be opportunities to gain Level 2 and Level 3 credits. You will be heavily involved in the 2024 Dance Showcase and will be encouraged to choreograph dances and perform for this event. This class develops your confidence to enable you to be comfortable with dancing in front of an audience. While you don’t have to have danced before, it is expected that you give everything a go!
